Check out these cool cabinets made by Denmark-based Søren Rose Studio. The first incarnation of the line was created in 2008, utilizing recycled gym floorboards. Søren Rose Studio paired the familiar graphic lines of each board with a simple silhouette, creating a collection of unique modern pieces that pay homage to the materials’ original use. Today, while mass-produced, the pieces continue to implement eco-friendly materials such as renewable pine, controlled Danish oak and water-based fixatives and varnishes. Gymnasium is sold globally by Mater and crafted by Denmark’s oldest cabinetmakers, Bruno Hansen Company. Via Resourceful.
